2018 Governance Board & Quality Improvement Committees

Magellan of Virginia is firmly committed to building a community-driven behavioral health system in the Commonwealth that is focused on recovery and resilience and is accountable for superior program outcomes. To deliver on that promise, Magellan established a Governance Board to offer community and provider stakeholders a true voice and shared decision-making authority in shaping the vision, strategy, planning and oversight of the statewide program.

This Governance Board will be responsible for making fundamentally important decisions about the statewide behavioral health system. We are steadfast in our belief that, by combining the voices of Virginia with collaborative, creative solutions and operational expertise, the Governance Board can and will assure that the operation of the behavioral health program is responsive to all stakeholder needs and is effective in considering the needs of the diverse communities of the Commonwealth.
